for year’s i’ve been using analogX’s capture utility to take screenshots. it worked great till i realized it didn’t capture jack on a secondary monitor. luckily i stumbled upon faststone capture.

it’s free, small, and can even capture freehand drawn sections. it also works on multiple monitors. wheeee. also it has a fairly decent quick edit program that will let you touch up the screenshots without having to open up a separate photo editor.
