wow, that took almost no time at all. all you need is an existing style.css and a few lines in a index.php and tada, theme recreated and widgetized. the simplest wordpress theme is nothing more than an index.php and style.css pair. from there you can build upon anything, and there’s a whole lot of reading i need to do.
