hrm. i’m having some wierd issues w/ network copies and i’m was fairly certain that the culprit is gvfs #. i started 2 large transfers from a sshfs mounted partition to a local partion and they died part way through. nm, it wasn’t gvfs although i have seen issues w/ $HOME/.gvfs not being mounted. a reboot usually fixes that.

i used rsync to copy over the files vs sshfs mounting and then using nautilus to do the copy. silly me for not using the cli the first time.

i’m gonna have to go poke around in the hardy heron development forum to see what the current bugs are and what’s new…. (that forum closes on april 24th. and unless you like to upgrade you system a few times a day i wouldn’t recommend running the beta just yet. there’s a lot of updates rolling through)
