i’ve seen references to firefly on slashdot for a while. i never saw the series nor cared until i saw the serenity trailer. wow, that movie looks like it’s going to kick some ass.
i spent this weekend watching all 14 of the original firefly episodes (in their proper order, wtf fox you even screwed that up). i’m not surprised that it didn’t do well on fox. it’s almost like a live action version of cowboy beebop. i wonder if sci fi will actually move beyond syndication and pay for producing the show?
hopefully the movie does well enough to spawn off more movies and hopefully bring the series back.
