finger eleven : them vs you vs me

it’s been about 4 years since the last finger eleven album. unfortunately it’s not the same finger eleven. i’m still listening to the album but it’s clear why wikipedia added pop rock as one of their genres. andrew freiday posted up a pretty good review of the album, and as i’m listening to some older finger eleven tracks all i have to say about the new album is “WEAKSAUCE!” the amazon reviews aren’t so good either.
boo.

grey cell green

March 4th, 2006

spending all day on saturday doing laundry really sucks. it royally sucks, monkey balls. it is a good reason to throw my mp3 collection on random and surf away. ned’s atomic dustbin “grey cells green” straight into nonpoint’s “my own sake” is actually a good contrast.

i think i need to get an ipod. there’s a lot of music that i’ve converted to digital, yet i never bother to listen to it unless i’m stilling at a computer or burn it to cd.

rhythmbox

rhythmbox
rhythmbox is a fairly easy to use itunes clone. it even minimizes to the taskbar so it doesn’t clutter up the screen. each new track will pop up a bubble showing the artist and title.rhythmbox-2misc links :

yeah, i know, what’s the big deal if it’s just an itune’s clone? i’m just impressed with how well it’s integrated into gnome. ubuntu did a good job implementing gnome, it’s a nice clean interface.
