here’s a few places to search when you’re having issues with ubuntu:
- official Ubuntu documentation
- community contributed documentation
- del.icio.us/ubuntu (popular,mine)
- bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu
- ubuntuforums.org
- lists.ubuntu.com
- ubuntuguide.org (gutsy,feisty)
for the most part, there are plenty of ways to find answers to any issues you might encounter. i’m still having some minor issues with filesystem/config differences between sysV and bsd but for the most part i rarely touch a command line to configure anything on my laptop. mostly it’s done through ubuntu’s gui applications. yes, i’ve gotten extremely lazy while using ubuntu. heh.
