after installing mythbuntu the screen saver was kicking off and i couldn’t get it to respond back even after vnc’n in or mashing buttons on the firefly remote. quick google search and i found some stuff to try from the mythtv docs.

search the doc for “DPMS”, you should find some config options to try in /etc/X11/xorg.conf to disable screen blanking. restart X and wait…
