ha! the daily del.icio.us posts are working! i guess i need to be a little more careful with what del.icio.us grabs when i tag a page though. i really need to get around to fixing my linked lists for good. they look horrible. i should probably take them off the front page because some day i post a ton of links.
i also need to figure out what’s up with the lightbox that i’m using because it’s definantly limiting the max image size. boo.
i did have to go through my old backups to find the missing splash images to fix the broken image link for the first page that archive.org grabbed from bonq.net back in the day [2001-02-06]. the rest of the archive has a lot of broken images, archive.org didn’t handle processing *.php?something=value links back then, and it’s kinda funny that i was still using ~joatmon vs /flipp.
occasionally they have the correct images in their cache, but i do plan on fixing the broken images and taking a good historical snapshot. it’ll be interesting to find old stuff that used to be on bonq.net.
it’s also annoying how epiphany trashed the fonts.
i obviously need a new hobby if i’m sitting here reconstructing old websites from backup cd’s and hard drives. the hardest part is going to be finding dumps of my old mysql database. i think i have the server drive for 2 old bonq.net machines, who knows if they still work though.
i really need to start playing around with yahoo pipes to aggregate all my rss feeds into one. [maclife.com > mash up rss feeds with yahoo pipes].
